Bounty Hunter Teknetics T2 Metal Detector
We're outside, beautiful Chicago day, thought you might like see the Teknetics T2 in action. I'm going to take my life into my hands, I've got a 1941 Walking Liberty half dollar. When I left my desk about 10 minutes ago this was worth about $14. 36 I've also got a 1967 Kennedy half dollar. This is worth about $6 when I left my desk. And I've also got the key to the boss's office soof everything here the key is probably the most valuable thing. One of my coworkers is going to hide these and I'm going to try and find them. I don't have my Bermuda shorts or my black knee socks, or my sandals but I do have a really nice set of headphones. Ok, first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to grab up here near the top and I'm going to turn the unit on. It's going to go through a self test. And if in the area you're searching you find there's a problem with a lot of metallic content in the soil or a lot of pop tabs and gum wrappers and whatnot. You can change the sensitivity by pressing the menu button once. It starts with the sensitivity at sixty you can turn the sensitivity down or you can turn it up based on where you're searching. So I'm going to leave it where it likes to start out at 60. In about five seconds it'll go back to it's normal search mode and we're off to the races. It's really important when you're sweeping with this to try and keep the head level it reduces the sensitivity if you have it not flat against the ground so you don't want to end up swinging from side to side like this, you want to keep the search coil level.

Ok, I've found something right here it's about five inches below the surface and if I press this all the way down to the ground it's showing me I'm about about two inches below the surface here. So let's see what I've found. Okay, one down three to go. 1941 Liberty Walking half dollar or so there's There's my fourteen dollars back. Let's see if we find the six and the key to the boss' office. Okay, 2 for 3, it took a little bit longer. This was actually sitting on it's edge so it was a little more difficult to detect than something that would've been flat. Also found this nice rock, That was very close to it, so if I hadn't stuck with it and kept digging around I would have given up when I found this rock and I would have been out six dollars or, I'm sorry, four dollars Now for the payoff, I'm going to see if I can find the key to the boss' office. Well that wasn't pretty far below the surface. It's showing one inch on the screen.
Now I don't have to go and explain to my boss why I've lost the key to the office, which would directly impact my performance review this winter. So that's what you can do with a metal detector, you can find coins, you can find keys, you can save your job. |
